Dopplegangers

Some of my friends have told me that my celebrity doppleganger would be Scarlett Johansen. I don't know about that, but I'll definitely take the compliment! I found the most attractive photo of her I could. :) I've also gotten Christina Aguilera, Jessica Simpson and Hillary Duff back when I used to have long blonde hair. Who do y'all think I look like and what are some of your guys celebrity look-a-likes??

Living a good life

That Marcus Aurelius knows what's up. This is how I currently feel about religion. I was raised Southern Baptist, but don't really align to it's views anymore. I'm currently reading a Buddhism parenting book, trying to cull some zen-like mom knowledge from it's pages. I do believe in karma. I don't fundamentally believe in the Bible stories I learned growing up. But the bottom line is, I don't particularly care for religion in general. I think if I live my life as a good and kind person, raise my children to be good and kind, then there's not much more I can give the universe.

So I went to the store to get stuff for my acorn squash quesadillas and ended up getting three types of cookies and a bag of york peppermint patties.  I couldn't help myself.  The first step is admitting I have a problem, right?

Thinking about new hair color

So I've been wanting to change my hair color for a while now. I've almost always had my hair dyed since I was 13, so having my natural color for so long I've been itching to try out a new color. In the past I've had platinum blonde hair, regular blonde hair, red hair, blonde hair with black streaks (i don't know what i was thinking on that one) and dark brown hair. The only thing that I really like about my hair color now is that Reegan's is the exact same color. So, here are a few options that I'm considering: the more traditional dark blonde color, the reddish brown color (i feel like i've done this one a lot though) or i could go all out and get purple/pink/blonde highlights. I have to say my favorite is the crazy purple hair. I've never really done anything that crazy with my hair and I think it's super cute. The only draw back is that its kind of a high maintenance hair color and anyone who knows me knows that I am not high maintenance at all. Also my hair is really kinky curly and I would have to straighten it every day for it to look good. Do I really want to do that? NO! Do I really love that hair color? YES!! So now I'm stuck and can't decide which one I want to do (If any at all...can I really be away from Reegan for 3 hours getting my hair done? yes, I'm that mom) So, help me decide...which do y'all like best?
